VINTAGE 5 STRING OPENBACK BANJO by  GEORGE MATHEW (Birmingham)

 

COMPLETLEY RESTORED.  New Ebony fingerboard, re-fretted , new mother-of-pearl & abalone inlay. The repolished Amercian Walnut neck has a carbon  fibre rod  under fingerboard. New geared pegs, bridge, strings, head & no-knot tailpiece. All fittings i e tension brackets etc re-plated.

VINTAGE 5 STRING BANJO by WINDSOR (Birmingham)  PREMIER MODEL 3

 

Totally original condition apart from new geared pegs, head, bridge & strings. Neck & resonator American Walnut.

All 5 tuning pegs are on the peghead, the 5th string runs through a tube under the fretboard to just beyond the nut. Fretting & inlay all orginal.

Plating in very good shape.  The neck is perfectly straight & strung with light gauge strings.

Restored.  Steamed, stained & polished pot, repolished Mahogany neck & Rosewood fingerboard with original fretting & position dots. Black metal resonator. All new tension brackets & shoes, new friction pegs, vellum , bridge & strings. Plenty of volume & responce.
