Instrument Restoration

1930s Regal Angelus Dobro

The Regal Angelus was Dobro's least expensive offering before WWII. The instrument featured a different cover plate than its more expensive siblings, was built without a soundwell, had a pressed rather than spun cone resonator and featured painted-on faux bindings. Still, it did what it did well and the model sold in great numbers during the Depression.
